These photos are in no particular order and I have LOTS more to upload (hello Tabisa...etc lol). These photographs and the ones to follow, are a beautiful visual record of beautiful people, in a beautiful and brave organisation. Many of these people have already been doing amazing work in the Eastern Cape, the province the rest of the country seems to see as poor, backward etc. Grassroots work in rural areas, activism, support for victims of rape etc, the first ever pride march in East London (2010) - these are just a few of the activities already initiated or supported by the EC LGBT Forum, which became the EC LGBTI Organisation on Saturday. The work has been happening quietly, without media attention or funding - for the people, by the people.

We'll be adding more information and photographs on an ongoing basis, including the org's current web presence, contact details etc.

Copyright subsists in these photographs (Ulla Kelly, photographer) and permission is granted freely to the organisation, its executive and members, to use as they see fit (hello FB profile pics...). We will grant permission to media etc to use them on request (use the Contact page of this website). If anyone outside of the organisation wants to use any, please ask first. We'll probably say yes.

Thank you!
